Renforcé par le seul F.BLIN, gardien de but arrivé de LORIENT, le FCG réalise une saison de très haut niveau couronnée par une participation aux barrages pour l’accession en Division I, perdue face au FC ROUEN (2-1 et 0-3)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pendant six mois, aucune équipe ne résiste aux hommes de NOWOTARSKI qui alignent une série de 19 matchs sans défaite, 25 en incorporant la Coupe de France.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Un exploit retentissant sur le terrain de Chalon, devant 14000 spectateurs, avec l’élimination de l’Olympique Lyonnais d’Aimé JACQUET, 2ème<\/sup> du championnat de DI. Le parcours se poursuit par une qualification face à Châteauroux (2-1 et 3-1), et une élimination qui laisse énormément de regrets contre LORIENT (3-2 et 0-1)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
