Le FCG accueille l’ex défenseur stéphanois BAREK et pour compenser le départ de son stratège SZCZYRBA parti à Rouen, il enrôlera en novembre l’ex-international junior Jean-Claude BERTHOMMIER, transfuge du Bataillon de Joinville. Avec ces apports de qualité et avec une attaque qui fait feu de tout bois, l’équipe gueugnonnaise confirme sa valeur avec seulement 5 défaites en 26 matchs. Performance qui lui permet, derrière BAGNEAUX et MONTLUÇON, de gagner son droit de participation au futur championnat dit "NATIONAL" ou encore "OPEN", autrement une nouvelle deuxième division.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nouvel exploit en 32ème<\/sup> finale de la Coupe de France, à Gerland. Un but de J-C BERTHOMMIER élimine les pros de l’AC. AJACCIO. L’aventure s’arrête en 16ème<\/sup> sur le terrain de Fourchambault où devant des centaines de supporters qui ont fait le déplacement et malgré un nouveau but de son meneur de jeu, les forgerons cèdent face à une autre équipe de DI, l’US. VALENCIENNES (1-2).<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n

? Saison particulièrement réussie pour le deuxième avant-centre Gabriel DUCH qui termine meilleur buteur du groupe Centre en inscrivant 19 buts dont trois triplés contre Moulins, Decize et La Combelle.<\/span><\/p>\n

? Match à rebondissement, le 11 janvier à NEMOURS, où les partenaires de COLLAUDIN dominent largement le leader avant d’encaisser 4 buts  dans les dix dernières minutes, suite à la sortie de son gardien Jacquou EMORINE blessé. C'est Michel Delblouwe qui finira le match dans les buts.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n

? Le 06 juin à Montceau, le FCG remporte (4-1) face au CSL. DIJON sa 8ème<\/sup> Coupe de Bourgogne.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n
