Les événements d’Algérie et une prolongation sous les drapeaux privent l’équipe de plusieurs titulaires. Le club aborde la saison avec les seuls moyens du bord et sans WROBEL opéré du ménisque. Les forgerons vont néanmoins largement dominer le championnat Honneur de Bourgogne en restant invaincus pendant 19 journées et retrouver leur place chez les « Grands Amateurs ». Le secteur offensif a été particulièrement performant (64 buts en 24 matchs) par contre la défense qui a encaissé 42 buts a souvent fait l’objet de critiques, et lors de l’Assemblée Générale de fin de saison, l’entraîneur Henri BOITOUT qui se voit reprocher certains choix « claque la porte ».<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
