<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Lucien PERPERE, dont la notoriété a depuis longtemps franchit les frontières de la région, répond aux sollicitations de l’ambitieuse formation de l’AS. ROANNE qui évoluera dans le groupe Sud. Dans ses bagages, il emmène le cadet des frères CHURLET, avant centre prometteur. On enregistre également le départ de MASSON à Montceau et celui (temporaire) de Stéphane OGIBA à Belfort.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Les dirigeants ont confié la responsabilité de l’équipe à un entraineur-joueur,  trois fois finaliste de la poule finale des amateurs avec les Chamois Niortais. International tchécoslovaque au poste d'inter, vainqueur de la coupe et du championnat avec Sochaux, Ferdinand FASCINEK délaisse le "verrou" cher à son prédécesseur pour la pratique du "WM", à ses dires mieux adaptée aux qualités de ses joueurs. Malgré sa présence sur le terrain, il n'obtient pas les résultats escomptés. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

De nombreuses blessures ou défections ne lui permettent pas de "matérialiser" ses conceptions. Le FCG termine son premier championnat de France à la limite de la relégation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
